Length: 6 training hours (two 3 hour days)
Objectives:
- Participants will have a better understanding of Borderline Personality Disorder, and will be able to outline the philosophy and foundation of DBT.
- Participants will learn and practice validation strategies to assist people who experience significant dysregulation.
- This course will provide a basic understanding of Borderline Personality Disorder. It will outline the philosophy and foundation of Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and highlight the skills and practice relevant to the participants€™ practice. Participants will work together to determine validation strategies and practice/role play them.
