Intensive Crisis Residential Treatment Services
Carlson Drake House
Carlson Drake House supports individuals in stabilizing and improving mental health symptoms in a home-like atmosphere. Located in Bloomington, the program is licensed to support twelve individuals in six shared rooms.
Carlson Drake House provides Intensive Residential Treatment Services (IRTS) to adults with a primary diagnosis of mental illness. Program services offer an alternative to hospitalization.
Similar to the other IRTS programs, the services here are recovery-oriented and evidence-based. The building has several lounges with cable TV and features a computer room as well as WiFi. The building is located in West Bloomington and is near a bus line. Most rooms at Carlson Drake house are shared.
Services include:
- Individualized assessment
- Illness management
- Integrated services for mental illness and substance use
- Family education
- Crisis assistance
- Development of health care directives and crisis prevention plans
- Nursing services
- Inter-agency case coordination
- Client transition and discharge planning
Specific services and duration of services is based on clinical need. The program has a maximum capacity for 12 individuals in six shared rooms.
